If you start from a foundation of rich patient data, then mine that data using sophisticated analytic techniques, you will more accurately determine the right healthcare providers and organizations to engage for the right reason at the right time.
Linking scientific, clinical, industry, and network signals is the first step in a more effective engagement strategy. The second step is objectively and meaningfully assess the impact of this strategy on business and clinical patient outcomes.
It’s time for Medical Affairs teams to put aside simple counts of visit and survey completions and establish a consistent way to analyze value. Which approaches work, and which do not? Armed with this objective measurement capability, teams can be empowered to test new approaches and more rapidly innovate in the quest to reduce disease burden.
